Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) seeks a Cybersecurity Specialist IAT I Basic to support operations in Huntsville, AL. This onsite role focuses on cybersecurity hardware and software activities within an enclave environment under general supervision.

In this IAT Level I position, you will monitor, test, and resolve cybersecurity issues, report to cybersecurity IAT/IAM leadership or a government cyber manager, and work under policies to maintain secure systems.

Qualifications

Associate degree in cyber security or related field
Alternate education path with 3 years DoD cyber experience
0-4 years cyber technical experience
IAT Level I certification required
DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain

Five Stones Research Corporation / 5SRC is hiring a full-time, exempt Cybersecurity Specialist IAT I Basic to support cybersecurity operations in Huntsville, AL. This onsite role supports cybersecurity hardware and software activities within an enclave environment under general supervision, with actions guided by established policies and procedures.

Role Overview

In this IAT Level I position, you will assist with monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, and resolving cybersecurity issues that affect enclave environments. Work is typically authorized and controlled through policies and established procedures, and you will report to cybersecurity IAT or IAM Level II or above leadership or a government cyber manager.

Responsibilities

Apply basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, practices, and procedures
Support, monitor, test, and troubleshoot hardware and software cybersecurity problems within the enclave environment
Operate within policies and established procedures for authorized actions
Work under general supervision and coordinate through cybersecurity IAT/IAM leadership and/or a government cyber manager

Requirements

Education: Associates in STEM / cyber-related field from an accredited institution
Acceptable alternative education: Associates in a non-STEM/cyber-related field plus 3 years of DoD cyber technical experience, with demonstrated knowledge tied to missile defense or other complex, large DoD programs/projects
Experience: 0-4 years of cyber technical experience
IAT Level I certification: Required prior to accepting the position
Technical capability: Technical certification or 1 year of experience with McAfee Endpoint Security, Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Splunk, and/or experience implementing network/enclave/system security toolsets. Experience should include reviewing technical assessment reports and prioritizing technical corrective actions. Required tool certification must be achieved within 6 months of accepting the position.
Acceptable alternative experience: Experience in technical review/management/assessment of Software, Cloud, Firewalls, Network Defense, Ports, Protocols, and Services Management, and/or DevSecOps
Clearance: DoD Secret clearance, or ability to obtain one
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizenship required
