The Cybersecurity Specialist is responsible for integrating security architecture and engineering efforts throughout the information technology life cycle to ensure the development and sustainment of secure systems and infrastructure. This role supports the design, implementation, integration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of software, hardware, and technical environments by embedding security concepts, controls, and mechanisms into system architecture and development processes. Responsibilities may include technical planning, system design, integration, verification and validation, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and customer requirements.
This position works to achieve key project and program objectives while managing projects or processes that span multiple technical disciplines. The Cybersecurity Specialist analyzes and resolves complex technical and security challenges impacting multiple systems or operational areas and develops innovative solutions to enhance system security and performance. The role requires strong technical expertise, analytical problem‑solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and program teams to deliver secure and reliable solutions that support mission and organizational objectives.
Pay Range: $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
