Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer (Cybersecurity) to join the Coronary Therapies R&D team in Maple Grove, MN. You will lead verification and validation of medical device software, emphasizing quality and security, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related technical discipline.
Five years’ relevant professional experience with a bachelor’s degree, or three years’ with a master’s degree.
Minimum of three years’ hands-on test automation experience.
Expert-level proficiency in Python with ability to architect scalable frameworks.
Demonstrated technical leadership, including leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee planning, design and execution of test strategies to align with goals and standards.
Coordinate and prioritize test activities across projects and teams.
Mentor less experienced test engineers and support professional growth.
Develop, track and present test metrics and quality reports to senior management.
Lead root cause analysis of test failures and drive improvements.
