Job summary

Goldbelt Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support PACAF’s Defensive Cyber Operations and Mission Assurance Branch. The role provides RMF/FISMA support, policy guidance, and mentorship to cyber forces to ensure DoD/AF compliance.

The SME will perform A&A validations, maintain RMF artifacts in eMASS/ITIPS, and coordinate RMF deliverables with MOBs and GSUs to sustain security packages for theater circuits and enclaves, with up to 40% travel.

Qualifications

• Ability to deliver Cybersecurity and RMF/FISMA support to mission owners; distribute current policy and provide guidance, and mentorship to cyber forces.
• Knowledge of congressional FISMA, DoD, and AF cybersecurity directives.
• Experience conducting on-site and/or virtual A&A validation and reviews to DoD/AF standards (DISA STIGs, NIST SP 800-12).
• Experience collecting and developing A&A artifacts.
• Ability to maintain A&A packages and track/update documents in CAP/SNAP, GIAP, eMASS, ITIPS, and CMRS databases.
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining RMF products via eMASS and related deliverables.
• Experience coordinating RMF deliverables from preparation to submission.
• Ability to provide updates through AF central FISMA repository ITIPS and ensure data synchronization across AF and DISA repositories.
• Knowledge of processing circuit connection requests through SGS and SNAP.

Responsibilities

• Assist PACAF MOBs & GSUs with implementing FISMA, DoD, and AF cybersecurity directives.
• Conduct A&A validation and reviews using DISA STIGs, NIST SP 800-12.
• Collect and develop A&A artifacts and maintain A&A documents in key databases.
• Maintain RMF products for theater circuits/enclaves via eMASS and related tools.
• Prepare and mentor military and civilian cyber personnel through the CRR-M program.
• Train PACAF personnel in DoD security tools and technologies to improve cyber readiness.
• Resolve issues with vulnerability scanning tools, credentials, and access controls.
• Prepare Wings for CCRIs/CCORIs on NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and PISIS information systems.
