Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union is seeking a Risk & Security Analyst to join our IT department in Pasadena. The role leads and administers the credit union's cyber and information security risk management program, developing, implementing, monitoring, and continually improving security controls, policies, standards, technologies, and response capabilities to protect information and systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee implementation and monitoring of information security technologies (firewalls, endpoint security, email security, encryption).
• Coordinate with IT teams and service providers to address security events and control deficiencies.
• Manage vulnerability and exposure management: scanning, testing, remediation tracking, and reporting.
• Lead incident response and security monitoring: containment, eradication, recovery, documentation, and post-incident review.
• Maintain information security governance and risk management program; support audits and reporting.
• Assess third-party cybersecurity risk and review security documentation and contractual requirements.
• Provide security oversight of identity and access management, including MFA and access reviews.
• Develop and enforce security policies and awareness initiatives; educate based on emerging threats.
• Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act and NCUA regulations; perform related duties.
