Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a Cybersecurity Analyst, Mid to join our team protecting government client missions in Washington, DC. You will translate complex risks into actionable plans, work with SMEs to gather data, and develop mitigation strategies for critical systems.

You’ll contribute to policy-driven security assessments, prepare SSPs/POA&Ms, and present findings to clients. Strong communication and independent multitasking are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with security control assessments or information security compliance.
• Experience conducting NIST security control assessments on cloud and traditional systems.
• Experience creating and maintaining A&A documentation (FIPS-199, SSPs, POA&M, SARs).
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, M365, SaaS) and related security controls.

Responsibilities

• Assess client cyber risks and translate findings into actionable mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with SMEs to gather technical details and prepare security documentation.
• Produce presentations, whitepapers, and milestones for client delivery.
