Job summary

Peraton seeks a Cybersecurity Reviewer to conduct CORA reviews for USCYBERCOM/DCDC at worldwide locations, based in Fort Meade, MD. The role supports DODIN cybersecurity reviews and related assessments, ensuring proper representation of technical expertise in requirements, schedules, and metrics.

The candidate should have IAT II / IAM II certifications, TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI, and U.S. citizenship. This is a high‑impact position within a national security context.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; 6 years with MS/MA; 3 years with PhD (associate+10 or HS+12 considered).
• Familiarity with CORAs and cyber readiness reviews.
• Familiarity with SRGs, STIGs, DoD Policy, CTOs and Operational Orders.
• Requires IAT Level II and IAM II certifications; must complete within 90 days.
• DoD TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain SCI; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a consolidated view at threat, vulnerability, and impact to support decision‑making for cyber terrain, forces, and resources.
• Support the conduct of DODIN cybersecurity reviews.
• Support inspections, evaluations, audits, assessments, DCO‑IDM missions, or self‑assessments of the DODIN.
• Follow policies to ensure technical expertise is represented in requirements, schedules, logistics, coordination, metrics, and analysis.
• Produce Executive Summary/Briefings/Reports post‑assessment.

Peraton seeks a Cybersecurity Reviewer to conduct Cyber Operational Readiness Assessment (CORA) reviews for USCYBERCOM/DCDC across worldwide locations.

Location: Fort Meade, MD.

Tasks include:

• Provide a consolidated look at threat, vulnerability, and impact to support decision‑making regarding cyber terrain, forces, and other resources
• Support the conduct of DODIN cybersecurity reviews
• Support any inspection, evaluation, audit, assessment, DCO‑IDM mission, or supported self‑assessment of the DODIN to support operational requirements
• Follow policies and procedures to ensure that technical expertise is properly represented in the development, execution, and maintenance of requirements, project management schedules, logistics, coordination, cross training, metrics development, and analysis.
• Produce Executive Summary/Briefings/Reports post‑assessment.

Required Qualifications

• Familiarity with conducting CORAs
• Familiarity with network vulnerability scans, virtual infrastructure, cloud, and other related areas
• Familiarity with vulnerability reviews, Security Requirements Guides (SRGs), STIGs, DOD Policy, Cyber Tasking Orders (CTO) and Operational Orders to determine the security posture and compliance of the site/enclave
• Familiarity with inspecting various areas such as:
  • Boundary Security
  • Network Infrastructure
  • Domain Name System (DNS)
  • Cross Domain Solution (CDS)
  • Mobility (Wireless)
  • Windows Infrastructure
• Requires IAT Level II and IAM II certifications. Must complete within 90 days of hire.
• DoD TS/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain SCI
• U.S. Citizenship Required

Target Salary Range

$135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
