Job summary

Southwire Company is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity initiatives. The role requires coordinating technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure projects meet security and business outcomes.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS (or related field) and 8–11 years of relevant experience, with PMP/CISSP or CISM certifications preferred. Domestic travel is limited.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.
• Specialized Degree in a related discipline (CS/IS) preferred for advanced roles.
• 8–11 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or project management.
• Experience leading complex technology or cybersecurity projects.

Responsibilities

• Leads cybersecurity projects from planning through deployment and operations.
• Develops project plans, milestones, resources, dependencies and budgets.
• Coordinates cybersecurity, IT, OT, business, and vendor resources for execution.
• Manages scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Ensures cybersecurity requirements and controls are integrated into project design.
• Identifies risks and mitigation plans; escalates issues as needed.
• Coordinates testing, deployment, change management, docs, training, and readiness.
• Manages vendors and implementation partners to meet deliverables and timelines.
• Establishes metrics and communicates progress to cybersecurity leadership.
