Responsibilities include creating schedules, tracking KPIs, managing risks, and ensuring alignment with federal cybersecurity frameworks and organizational goals. Mentoring junior PMs and providing executive status updates are key components of the role.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of documented experience in agency/enterprise cybersecurity project management.
• 6+ years of leadership experience in cybersecurity.
• PMP certification required.
• ITIL certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop program schedules, milestones, and deliverables, coordinating across technical teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
• Monitor program performance using metrics, KPIs, and reporting mechanisms to ensure objectives are met.
• Oversee risk management activities, identifying, assessing, and mitigating program and project risks.
• Facilitate communication between program teams, executive leadership, and external stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment of cybersecurity projects with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
• Mentor and guide project managers and team leads within the program.
• Prepare briefings, reports, and executive updates for leadership on program status, risks, and outcomes.
• Implement IT service management best practices (ITIL) in program planning and execution.
