Job summary

Newport News Shipbuilding, a division of HII, seeks a cybersecurity leader to drive RMF implementation across PREPY and related groups. You will guide risk assessments, security plans, and continuous monitoring, coordinating with engineering, IT, and security teams to embed cybersecurity into shipboard and lab environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design; Master’s Degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
• Equivalents for information technology related positions are allowed.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to teams executing RMF activities and related artifacts (SSP, SAR, ATO).
• Oversee collaboration with PREPY and other teams to embed cybersecurity requirements in developments.
• Liaise with NNS Engineering, IT, and Security to align methodologies and objectives.
• Manage daily operations, set clear expectations, and ensure performance goals are met.
