A leading consulting firm is seeking a Senior Manager Security Account Lead in Scottsdale, Arizona. This role requires 8+ years in cybersecurity and a strong background in client-facing consulting, particularly within Software and Platform sectors. You'll be responsible for delivering strategic programs and engaging with executive stakeholders while driving AI-enabled transformations. We are looking for a self-starter and AI enthusiast with 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity and privacy to join our team as a Senior Manager level Security Account Lead. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in client-facing consulting environments, especially within the Software and Platform industry(S&P), and are actively building the technical depth and AI-enabled thinking required to lead in a rapidly evolving landscape.
Lead with Strategy, Risk, and Compliance
Deliver strategic maturity assessments, roadmaps, and integrated security and privacy programs aligned with clients’ business and risk priorities.
Work across global privacy and security frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
Help clients rationalize and optimize tooling and architecture choices—not just implement controls.
Engage Executives and Engineers Alike
Confidently lead conversations with CISOs, Chief Privacy Officers, and other C-suite stakeholders.
Partner directly with technical stakeholders—including engineering, product, and architecture teams—ensuring our recommendations are both technically feasible and innovative.
Translate regulatory and policy requirements into product- and platform-aware solutions that make sense in build-heavy environments.
Drive AI-Enabled Transformation
Bring an active interest in generative AI and a demonstrated track record of exploring, experimenting with, or implementing AI in the security or privacy domain.
Help shape and deliver AI-enabled workflows that reimagine how risk, compliance, and privacy are operationalized.
Collaborate with teams to define where human-AI teaming can bring disproportionate impact—especially in advisory, assurance, and reporting processes.
Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in cybersecurity and/or privacy, with exposure to both strategic and technical domains.
Minimum of 8 years of strong working knowledge of key frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
Minimum of 8 years of prior consulting or advisory experience with Software and Platform industry/ clients, or an ability to thrive in engineering-driven environments.
Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Bonus Points if you have
One or more preferred: CISSP, CISA, CIPP, CIPM, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor.
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
