Job summary

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) seeks a Cybersecurity Policy Analyst to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment. The role requires reviewing, consolidating, and developing cybersecurity policy with government approval, and providing technical guidance to programs while balancing security with operational needs.

The candidate will brief senior management on policy changes and progress, drawing on experience with DoD policy implementations and CSSP certification.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant cybersecurity policy experience.
  • Experience with DoD cybersecurity policy implementation.
  • CSSP Analyst certification or equivalent required.
  • Ability to assess IT policies balancing security and operational requirements.

Job description

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a CybersecurityPolicy Analyst to support an enterprise-level program within a federal environment.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Reviews, consolidates, and develops with government approval cybersecurity policy in accordance with requirements. Provides technical support and assistance to programs and assesses IT policies, standards, guidelines, or procedures to ensure a balance of security and operational requirements. Briefs senior management on cybersecurity policy changes, updates, and progress.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA)
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity policies, standards, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to develop, review, and consolidate cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of government cybersecurity requirements and policy development processes.
  • Ability to assess IT policies and practices to balance security and operational requirements.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and support to programs on cybersecurity policy matters.
  • Ability to communicate cybersecurity policy changes, updates, and implementation status to senior management.

  • Candidate must communicate effectively with team members, team lead, management, and government customers
  • Must have the ability and desire to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems with minimal supervision
Minimum Training, Education, and Certifications
  • Seven (7) years of relevant cybersecurity policy experience
  • Experienced in the general tenets supporting the overall DOD implementation of its cybersecurity policies, procedures, and process
  • Must maintain CSSP Analyst certification by having one of the following or equivalent - (CEH, CFR, GCIA, GCISP)
Minimum Clearance
  • Top Secret
Physical Requirements
  • Required to stand, walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Physical demands associated with this position include extensive walking (including stairs) throughout offices and between buildings. May require use of public transportation, personal or Government vehicle to drive to local and/or remote office locations.
