Job summary

Odyssey Consulting seeks an SE-4 Cybersecurity Penetration Tester to support the 48th Cyberspace Test Squadron under the TMAS III contract at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs.

The role involves leading independent testing, developing DoD-focused strategies, and guiding penetration test teams across Windows, Linux, and UNIX environments, with exposure to DoD programs and complex security analyses.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret.
• Master’s degree in cybersecurity, computer engineering, computer science, IT systems, or related technical discipline plus 10+ years of experience.
• Obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification within 6 months of hire and maintain it.
• Experience with penetration testing tools and methods.
• Experience exploiting web applications.
• Strong analytical, communication, and technical documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Interface with DoD Program Offices to scope, plan, execute, and report penetration test activities.

• Ability to execute exploitation across networks, web applications, OS, and embedded systems

• Knowledge of scripting/interpreted languages (Python, Ruby, JavaScript, Bash, PowerShell, PHP) preferred
• Knowledge of compiled languages (C, C++, Assembly, Java) preferred

Position Summary

• 25% CONUS/OCONUS travel required to meet 48 CTS mission needs

Compensation: USD 170,000 - 190,000 per year

Work style: Onsite at Peterson SFB, CO
