You will own the technical lifecycle of security updates, develop automation, and support broader cybersecurity activities across ATC programs and other Rohde & Schwarz products.

The role requires 7+ years in cybersecurity engineering, strong patch management skills, and hands-on Linux/Windows security.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant cybersecurity engineering, systems engineering, network engineering, testing, automation, DevSecOps, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity patch and vulnerability management principles.
• Experience evaluating, testing, validating, and deploying operating system, application, network device, firmware, or product security updates.
• Experience developing and executing technical test plans, test procedures, regression tests, or system validation activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and continuously improve patch management processes for systems, operating systems, network devices, and embedded components.
• Evaluate patches, advisories, and CVEs for applicability and impact.
• Coordinate patch evaluation with product engineering, cybersecurity, testing teams, vendors, and customers.
• Develop patch testing plans, procedures, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
• Perform laboratory testing, security verification testing, and regression testing.
• Validate patches remediate vulnerabilities without degrading system functionality or performance.
• Support deployment planning, customer coordination, installation, and post-deployment verification.
• Develop repeatable test methodologies for devices and systems.
• Create automation to improve engineering efficiency and consistency.
• Develop scripts and automation for configuration generation and validation of Cisco/Fortinet devices.
