Job summary

Spencer Fane LLP seeks a Cybersecurity Manager in Denver, CO to lead the firm''s cybersecurity operations under the IT Security Director. You will supervise security personnel, coordinate incident response, and drive security engineering, architecture, and platform improvements across the enterprise.

You will partner with IT and business teams to embed security into technology decisions, manage external providers, and measure operational performance through defined metrics and playbooks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in cybersecurity, information tech, or related field.
• Minimum five years of enterprise cybersecurity experience and leadership.
• Experience with regulated environments and law firms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily cybersecurity operations and service delivery.
• Supervise cybersecurity personnel and external providers.
• Develop and maintain incident-response plans and runbooks.
• Drive security engineering, architecture, and platform integration.
• Oversee vulnerability management and threat detection efforts.
• Manage security budgets, SLAs, and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate with Legal, Communications, and leadership on incidents.
• Assess AI/security implications of emerging technologies.
• Provide security metrics and reporting to IT Security Director.
• Support governance, risk, and client security assessments.
