Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Cybersecurity Operations Manager:

The Cybersecurity Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the Cybersecurity Operations Center (SOC) and its 24x7 Intrusion Detection and Incident Response team. This role involves managing a team of cybersecurity Tier 2 and Tier 3 Engineers, developing and implementing security IR runbooks and playbooks (in accordance with security policies), and coordinating continuous monitoring and rapid response to cybersecurity threats. The manager ensures compliance with relevant regulations, conducts regular security assessments, and leverages threat intelligence to proactively address potential risks.

Required Skills for Cybersecurity Operations Manager:

• 8 years’ experience in Security Operations Center (SOC) Management: 8 years of experience overseeing SOC operations, including 24x7 monitoring.
• 8 years’ experience in Incident Response Management: a minimum of 8 years of experience in managing and responding to cybersecurity incidents.
• 8 years’ experience in Regulatory Compliance: 8 years of experience ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations and standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-61 Revision 3)
• 6 years’ experience in Threat Intelligence and Analysis: 6 years of experience in leveraging threat intelligence to anticipate and mitigate risks.
• 4 years’ experience in Industry Standard Detection Tools and Analysis: 4+ years of experience with industry-standard detection tools and analysis techniques.
