Job summary

Jobtailor in SeaTac, WA seeks a Cybersecurity Administrator to safeguard our technology environment by administering security technologies and reducing risk across the agency.

You will monitor systems, manage identities, run awareness campaigns, and ensure data protection while enabling staff to deliver services securely. The role requires cross-functional collaboration and occasional travel between worksites.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in cybersecurity or related IT role.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity/IT; experience may substitute for degree.
• CompTIA Security+ within 6 months of hire.
• Knowledge of IAM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, cloud security, incident response, security monitoring, and risk management.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 security technologies and security monitoring tools.
• Fluent in English with ability to communicate security risks to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft 365 and common enterprise security tools.
• Resilience, sound judgment, adaptability in security events.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to strengthen cybersecurity practices.
• Able to work in low to moderate noise environments; travel between worksites; lift up to 25 pounds.
• Meets background clearance requirements as required.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard technology environment by administering security technologies and reducing risk.
• Monitor systems, manage identities, raise security awareness, and protect data.
• Develop and deliver security awareness programs including phishing simulations and training.
• Administer endpoint management and security technologies across the organization.
• Manage IAM services, authentication, authorization, and security policies.
• Conduct risk assessments and support regulatory and organizational security requirements.
• Monitor threats, investigate security events, coordinate incident response.
• Maintain data protection and data loss prevention controls.
• Partner with Enterprise Applications, IT Operations, and business leaders to integrate security best practices.
