Job summary

Corient is seeking a Cybersecurity Associate to support day-to-day security operations across networks, systems, and applications. You will work with the cybersecurity team to ensure secure-by-design practices, defense-in-depth controls, and least-privilege access across the organization.

You will engage with tools from Azure Security, Defender, Rapid7, and Cisco Umbrella, while collaborating with IT and business stakeholders to uphold security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent with relevant certifications.
• 3–6 years in security analyst roles; financial services experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Azure AD, SQL, Office365, Windows Server/Desktop.
• Familiar with NIST, CIS, ISO frameworks; experience with vulnerability tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize security tooling across Azure, Defender, and Rapid7.
• Lead incident response activities and coordinate remediation.
• Develop scripts to automate security workflows.
• Manage vulnerability management and reduce attack surface.
• Leverage threat intelligence to identify emerging threats.
