Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Secure MA&D Lead to drive cybersecurity due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions. You will identify cyber risks, estimate remediation and integration costs, manage third-party diligence partners, and prepare Day 1 readiness plans.

You will translate technical findings into business impact, collaborate with Finance, Legal, IT, and Information Security, and maintain clear documentation of risks and decisions while improving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, CS, information systems, IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in information security analysis, cybersecurity engineering, incidents or M&A due diligence.
• Experience leading cybersecurity assessments, risk reviews, diligence activities, or integration planning.
• Strong understanding of IAM, endpoint security, vulnerability management, cloud security, data protection, and third‑party risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-close cybersecurity due diligence for MA&D transactions.
• Review target-company security posture, documentation, interviews, and assessment results.
• Identify cyber risks, control gaps, compliance concerns, and Day 1 readiness issues.
• Translate findings into business, operational, and financial impacts.
• Manage third-party cybersecurity diligence providers, including scope and timelines.
• Develop preliminary cost estimates for remediation, integration, tooling, and labor.
• Collaborate with Finance, Corporate Development, Legal, IT, and Information Security teams.
• Transfer findings and risks to security owners before close.
• Support Day 1 readiness planning with required controls and post-close actions.
• Maintain documentation of risks, decisions, actions, and handoffs.
