Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field is mandatory.
  • 7+ years of cybersecurity experience required.
  • Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.

Job description

ActioNet is hiring a Cybersecurity Lead / ISSO ensures that all systems and applications comply with agency and federal cybersecurity standards. This role leads the implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF), conducts vulnerability assessments, and supports system accreditation and continuous monitoring. The Cybersecurity Lead collaborates with technical teams to integrate security into all phases of system development and operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead RMF compliance and security assessments.
  • Conduct vulnerability scanning and remediation.
  • Maintain security documentation and support ATO processes.
  • Coordinate with agency security stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on system security posture.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or related field.
  • 7+ years of cybersecurity experience.
  • Knowledge of FISMA, NIST 800-53, and FedRAMP.
  • Experience with vulnerability scanning tools and RMF.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience supporting agency or DHS cybersecurity programs.
