Job summary

Sphinx Defense is looking for a Cybersecurity Lead - Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to support secure software systems in Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity and manage compliance and security documentation alongside program stakeholders.

This role is contingent on securing a government contract and offers a competitive salary between $160,000 and $218,000, along with benefits including equity ownership and 100% employer-covered insurance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity and information assurance.
• 5+ years of experience supporting classified programs.
• Hold a current IAM Level III certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity efforts ensuring compliance with government requirements.
• Manage RMF activities throughout the system lifecycle.
• Coordinate cybersecurity compliance activities with stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain cybersecurity documentation and reports.
• Identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate cybersecurity incident response activities.
