E-Logic, Inc. seeks a seasoned Cybersecurity Lead to oversee and design defense for the Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy (Management) - IT Division. You will drive proactive threat defense, incident management, and ensure FISMA compliance across the department.

In this role, you will lead RMF artifacts, apply STIGs, manage vulnerability programs, and guide cross-functional teams within the NCR area, with duties centered on government contract requirements and security operations leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on cybersecurity operations and threat analysis experience.
• CISSP credential required.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, federal compliance standards, SIEM technologies, and incident response runbooks.

Job description

E-Logic is accepting applications for a seasoned Cybersecurity Lead to oversee, design, and safeguard to Deputy Under Secretary of the Navy (Management) - Information Technology Division - DUSN (M) ITD. The Cybersecurity Lead will drive proactive threat defense, lead incident management efforts, and maintain compliance standards required by the Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical and strategic leadership to the cybersecurity operations and monitoring teams.
• Oversee vulnerability scanning, asset testing, incident handling, and engineering remediation schedules.
• Lead the compilation and upkeep of Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts to sustain and capture agency Authorizations to Operate (ATO).
• Apply DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) across technical silos, establishing ironclad infrastructure baselines.

Mandatory Requirements

• When deemed necessary by the Government, the contractor shall be required to work offsite at a non-government location within 25 miles of the NCR.
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience in specialized cybersecurity operations and threat analysis environments.
• Active, valid Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) credential.
• In-depth familiarity with NIST SP 800-53, federal compliance mandates, SIEM technologies, and incident response runbooks.
