Job summary

Tevora is seeking participants for its Fall Consultant Development Program in the Fairfax, VA or Irvine, CA locations. The paid internship prepares you for a full-time Information Security Associate role through hands-on delivery experience in Enterprise Risk, Compliance, and Solutions Implementation.

Eligible candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in IT or cybersecurity, with basic networking and IT administration knowledge, and an interest in Federal security standards like FISMA, FedRAMP,

Qualifications

Foundational networking concepts (firewalls/routers/switches/DNS).
Basic computer troubleshooting and server administration understanding.
Business planning and cost/asset considerations.

Responsibilities

Develop technical and business skills to perform billable work on projects quickly.
Learn about industry-standard certifications and their benefits.
Learn about PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and ISO 27001 standards.
Observe and assist with Enterprise Security solutions implementations.
Support penetration testing and social engineering projects where applicable.
Assist in planning technical execution to meet business requirements.
Gather requirements to complete execution plans and execute on them.
