Job summary

Nissan USA is seeking a Cyber Security Intern to join our Smyrna, TN team for a 12-week, full-time internship focused on Operational Technology cybersecurity within a highly automated manufacturing environment.

You will gain hands-on experience with security tools, threat monitoring, vulnerability management, and network security practices while supporting SOC investigations and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Cyber Security or a related field.
• Junior or Senior year at start of upcoming term.
• Knowledge of vulnerability analysis and cybersecurity risk assessment methodologies.
• Familiarity with network analysis concepts and cybersecurity monitoring tools.
• Understanding of endpoint detection and response (EDR) technologies.
• Interest in ethical hacking, threat detection, and cybersecurity best practices.
• GPA of 3.0 or above; transcript may be required.
• Ability to work onsite at Smyrna, TN.

Responsibilities

• Support vulnerability management activities using Tenable.One.
• Assist with endpoint detection, monitoring, and response efforts using SentinelOne.
• Analyze network architecture and security risks with RedSeal and other platforms.
• Support SOC investigations and cybersecurity event analysis.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity and manufacturing teams to identify and mitigate risks in OT environments.
