Job summary

Phillips Edison & Company is seeking an Information Security Intern to join our Cincinnati, OH office in person. You will work with the Cybersecurity Manager and IT team on monitoring, investigations, and security-related projects.

Gain hands-on experience across security domains, learn IT processes, and document work while collaborating with supervisors and company personnel in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• This internship is for a current university student studying cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, or a closely related field.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting is required.
• Excellent written and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and review logs to identify anomalies and incidents.
• Respond to cybersecurity alerts with investigations and analyses.
• Conduct cybersecurity trainings and briefings for multiple levels of the business.
• Support implementation and tuning of network and computer security solutions.
• Perform security assessments and vulnerability tests on applications and systems.
• Research cybersecurity trends and best practices.
• Respond to help desk tickets for cybersecurity.
• Monitor daily security activities related to email.
