You’ll participate in trainings, document work, and help maintain secure systems across our network. The position offers exposure to eight security domains and practical IT processes within the department.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Strong written and organizational skills with ability to balance priorities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and review logs to identify anomalies and incidents.
• Respond to cybersecurity alerts with thorough investigation and analysis.
• Perform research on tools and procedures and provide feedback.
• Conduct cybersecurity training, briefings, and presentations for multiple levels.
• Support implementation and tuning of security solutions.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing of applications and systems.
• Research cybersecurity trends and best practices.
