Job summary

Dorman Products is seeking a Cybersecurity Intern to support the IT Security team in protecting the organization’s systems, networks, and data. This 10-week internship provides hands-on experience in monitoring, vulnerability management and incident response, while learning industry best practices.

This hybrid role is based at our Colmar, PA corporate location near Philadelphia, with four days work-from-home and in-office on Thursdays; the US base rate is $25.00/hr.

Job Summary

This is a hybrid role in our corporate location in suburban Philadelphia (Colmar, PA), work from home 4 days a week, in office on Thursdays.

Primary Duties

• Monitor and review security alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities.
• Assist in investigating suspicious activity and supporting incident response.
• Participate in security assessments, audits, and compliance checks.
• Research and document emerging cybersecurity threats, risks, and trends.
• Contribute to security awareness initiatives and end-user training.
• Support IT/security projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Education / Experience

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Prior coursework, certifications, or personal projects in cybersecurity are a plus

What the Intern Will Learn

The US base rate for this full-time position is $25.00/hr. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
