SAIC is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Instructor in Little Rock, AR, stationed at Little Rock Air Force Base to enhance MACCE coursework with on-site instruction and hands-on cyber range activities.

You will develop and deliver instruction, assess students, provide feedback, and update materials. The role involves travel up to 25% for mobile training teams and requires the ability to collaborate with instructors for dynamic learning environments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree and five or more years of experience; Master’s degree and three or more years; PhD with zero years related experience.
• Proficiency with Linux CLI, Windows PowerShell, and networking concepts (OSI Model, subnetting, protocols).
• Experience in Mission Generation, Aircraft Components, Functional Mission Analysis, system administration, Mission Planning, cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS), AI/ML, programming, cyber threat landscape, intrusion analysis (Diamond Model, kill chains, MITRE ATT&CK), SIEM, and cyber threat intelligence.

Responsabilidades

• Provide expert coaching, teaching, and assessment aligned with Air Force MACCE and DCO curricula, with feedback and progress reporting.
• Evaluate course material and suggest updates to improve learning outcomes.

• Utilize cyber range operations in instruction and coordinate with range engineers for hands-on learning.
• Operate under general direction and exercise judgment in developing solutions.
• Travel up to 25% to support mobile training teams (MTTs).
• Handle physical tasks involved in content development and setting up equipment, including lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods in classroom settings and manage setup activities.
• Perform fine manipulation at computers and handle small parts in trainer devices.

Description

SAIC is actively seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Instructor to enhance our Cyber Operations Courses in Little Rock, Arkansas. Positioned at Little Rock Air Force Base, you will join a team passionate about instructing Air Force Mission Assurance Cyber Coordination Element (MACCE) personnel tasked with protecting our nation's critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver on-site instruction for cyber operations courses, including development and execution of curriculum throughout the year.
• Provide expert coaching, teaching, and assessment for students in alignment with Air Force MACCE and DCO curriculum, including offering feedback and progress reporting.
• Actively participate in the evaluation of course material, suggesting updates and corrections to enhance the learning experience.
• Engage in collaborative efforts with fellow instructors and staff to develop, refine, and update course materials as per customer requirements.
• Effectively utilize cyber range operations in course instruction, coordinating with range engineers to support dynamic, hands-on learning environments.
• Works under only general direction. Independently determines and develops approach to solutions. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Proficiency with one or more of the following technical skills Linux CLI, Windows PowerShell, and networking (OSI Model, subnetting, protocols).
• Additional experience in any of the following is favorable Mission Generation, Aircraft Components, Functional Mission Analysis, system administration, Misson Planning, cloud platforms (Azure, Google Cloud, AWS), Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Programming, cyber threat landscape, intrusion analysis (Diamond Model, kill chains, MITRE ATT&CK), SIEM, and/or cyber threat intelligence.
• Prior experience in educational roles or instructional design is advantageous.

Clearance

• Active Secret security clearance preferred and must be capable of obtaining a TS/SCI clearance.

Target salary range $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
