Allegacy is seeking a skilled Incident Response Analyst to monitor security tooling, triage alerts, investigate suspicious activity, and coordinate containment and remediation in collaboration with IT and MDR partners.

The role emphasizes developing and refining incident response playbooks, improving alerting logic, and supporting vulnerability management while staying current with evolving cyber threats and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in incident response triage, investigation, containment and recovery.
• Ability to analyze security telemetry and identify indicators of compromise.
• Familiar with regulatory standards in financial services (GLBA, NCUA, FFIEC, PCI DSS, SOX).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and common attacker techniques.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security tooling and triage alerts to determine scope and response actions.
• Investigate suspicious activity by analyzing logs and documenting findings.
• Execute incident response actions in partnership with IT and applications teams.
• Collect and preserve incident evidence and support forensic activities.
• Develop and improve incident response playbooks and conduct tabletop exercises.
• Tune detections and reduce false positives with tool owners.
