Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Junior Cybersecurity Analyst – Cloud, Network, Infrastructure Security & IAM in Englewood, CO. The role focuses on operational execution under guidance, building foundational cybersecurity and identity management skills.

Responsibilities include monitoring security events, implementing controls for cloud platforms, and supporting IAM operations across cloud and on-prem environments. Career progression includes Cloud/N network/IAM engineering paths.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS with cybersecurity focus.
• Exposure to Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Network Operations, IT Support or IAM.
• Certifications such as Azure/AWS Fundamentals, Network+ or Security are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts across Cloud, Network, and Infrastructure environments.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining security controls for cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Support network security operations including firewall rules, VPN access, and network segmentation.
• Assist with vulnerability scanning, patch validation, and remediation tracking.
• Support infrastructure security for Windows and Linux servers including hardening and access control.
• Participate in incident response activities including triage, investigation support, and documentation.
• Access provisioning and de-provisioning; PAM activities.
