Job summary

Ste. Michelle Wine Estates in Woodinville, WA seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer to secure and support our hybrid infrastructure, identity, endpoints, and security operations.

This hands-on role emphasizes vulnerability management and automated remediation across on-prem and cloud environments. The candidate will build automation with PowerShell, monitor security events with EDR/XDR and SIEM tools, and collaborate with IT teams to implement security controls and compliant configurations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT / cybersecurity.
• Strong Windows Server and hybrid cloud experience.
• Expertise in IAM and privileged access management.
• Experience with vulnerability management and EDR/XDR and security monitoring.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation.
• Experience with endpoint management and ITSM tools such as Intune/Jira/ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Secure Windows servers, identity platforms, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Remediate security and infrastructure issues across servers, identity systems, and endpoints.
• Manage vulnerability identification, prioritization, remediation, and validation with leading platforms.
• Build automated vulnerability remediation workflows across security and ITSM tools.
• Monitor security events and endpoint detections using EDR/XDR and SIEM platforms.
• Investigate and remediate vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and exposure risks.
• Track CVEs and emerging threats and translate findings into remediation plans.
• Harden Windows systems, directory services, endpoints, and infrastructure.
• Develop automation using PowerShell and other enterprise tools.
• Support IAM, privileged access, authentication, and identity security initiatives.
• Participate in incident response, containment, remediation, and root-cause analysis.
• Audit systems for secure configuration and compliance with security standards.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and IT teams to implement security controls.
• Support security assessments, penetration testing, risk assessments, and audits.
• Research emerging threats and evaluate technologies to improve security posture.
• Support SOC 2, PCI DSS 4.0, CIS, HIPAA and other requirements.
