Your domain expertise and decision-making authority will directly influence project success and delivery.

  • Lead or support RMF-based Authorization & Assessment (A&A) activities, documentation, and eMASS packages for DoD systems, including Government cloud environments
  • Drive vulnerability remediation across VMS/IAVA, SCAP, HBSS, ACAS, ISCM, and other cybersecurity tools; interpret results within mission and risk context
  • Supervise or coordinate with validators and Security Control Assessors (SCAs) to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and project timelines
  • Provide expertise in RMF 2.0 transition, including documentation updates, solution analysis, stakeholder communication, and training development
  • Serve as a client-facing lead, shaping cybersecurity strategy, communicating impacts, and influencing program direction at senior levels
  • Assist in spillage response and data cleanup processes per DoD policy for both classified and unclassified environments
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior cybersecurity staff or subcontractor personnel as applicable

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (Computer Science, Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering)
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or information assurance, including direct RMF, ATO, and vulnerability management responsibilities. Leadership or client-facing experience is strongly preferred
  • Deep experience with DoD RMF, NIST 800-53, ATO processes, and secure system engineering
  • Experience with cybersecurity operations and tooling across hybrid and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Strong client relationship, negotiation, and team leadership capabilities
