American Express is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer I to contribute to secure web applications and services across frontend and backend within the Enterprise Technology Services and Information Security teams. You will work with React, Node.js, Java, Python, Go, and other technologies to deliver end-to-end features while integrating security controls throughout the SDLC.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Software engineering experience in application design, software development, and automated testing.
• Experience with OO design and languages like Python, Go, Java, JavaScript.
• Experience in distributed systems, databases (NoSQL and relational).
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Familiarity with AI tools to improve engineering productivity.
