Job summary

Meriplex seeks a Cyber Security Engineer to deliver hands-on security engineering and advisory services for client environments, across on-prem and cloud. You will design, deploy, configure, and support security technologies, while aligning with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

You will produce architecture diagrams, SOPs, and incident response playbooks, and collaborate with internal teams to improve clients' security posture through robust controls and threat-informed

Qualifications

• 5+ years of security industry experience or equivalent skill level.
• 5+ years of experience managing Active Directory and Windows Server.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus but not required.
• Experience with systems administration and network infrastructure is required.
• Previously assessed, developed, and implemented security technologies and processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and secure security infrastructure to ensure a robust posture.
• Perform complex deployments of security technologies.
• Execute vulnerability management and incident response activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security controls.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, including playbooks and diagrams.
• Understand and apply security frameworks like NIST, ISO, CIS.
• Stay updated on threats and implement countermeasures.
• Provide guidance on security best practices to clients and internal teams.
• Research and evaluate next-gen security technologies.
