Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a Journeyman Cybersecurity Engineer to support a multinational capability linking national Secret networks and services. Based at Fort Meade, you will perform vulnerability assessments and RMF decisions using ESS Trellix and ACAS, and mitigate vulnerabilities to ensure system security.

You will identify intrusion evidence, investigate cyber incidents, recover data, and define procedures with the team to support secure IT infrastructures and applications.

Qualifications

• 0 years with Bachelor's in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years relevant experience.
• 3 years of IT security experience.
• Active Secret Security Clearance; US Citizenship.
• Experience with ESS Trellix and ACAS scanning for vulnerability assessments and RMF decisions.
• Experience mitigating and remediating vulnerabilities.
• Experience in or for the military preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform vulnerability assessments and RMF decisions using ESS Trellix and ACAS.
• Mitigate and remediate vulnerabilities to maintain information system security.
• Identify intrusion evidence and investigate cyber incidents.
• Support the project manager with plans and functional requirements.
• Help deliver secured IT infrastructures and applications.
• Recover deleted or corrupted data from digital media.
