Job summary

KBR in Huntsville, AL seeks a Cyber Security Engineer to support the Army STARE Product Office, focusing on cybersecurity across the portfolio and integration with Army defense systems. This role requires active DoD clearance and hands-on RMF, ATO, and policy implementation in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

You will coordinate with program offices, prepare briefing materials, and support security testing events while traveling up to 25% to meet deadlines and customers' needs.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years related DoD cybersecurity work.
• DISA eMASS experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer ATO packages, integrating CS with tactical networks.
• Assist assessment of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and data.
• Support CS policy dissemination and training, enforcing DoD/Army standards.
• Provide admin support to STARE CS tasks and track work items.
• Build relationships with PMOs and STARE staff to align cybersecurity deployments.
• Prepare briefing materials and coordinate security testing events.
• Coordinate with PEO MS STARE Product Office for CS tasks.
• Travel approximately 25%.
