Job summary

JCS Solutions LLC seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer to support a large DoD contract at Fort Belvoir, VA. Responsibilities include RMF/IA, monitoring security events, and maintaining SSP/SOP compliance for multiple enclaves. Candidates must have DoD TS/SCI clearance and 8+ years IA experience or 12+ years without a degree.

Preferred skills include Security+ or CISSP, STIG/SCC expertise, and strong Windows/Linux virtualization knowledge to support a secure, evolving environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 8+ years’ IA experience or 12+ years without a degree.
• Current IAT Level II or higher certification such as Security+ or CISSP.
• Understanding RMF, NIST, ICD, and CNSS standards.
• Familiarity with LAN/WAN in classified env, crypto and key management.
• STIG compliance, SCC and STIG Viewer experience, and ACAS.
• Expert with Windows, Linux, and system virtualization in a secure network.
• Ability to work in a changing regulatory environment and teams.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance at time of consideration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain RMF packages and security posture across enclaves within contract scope.
• Monitor, analyze, and respond to information systems and network security events.
• Document compliance actions in approved tracking system.
• Ensure systems are operated and disposed per SSP, SOP, and directives.
• Prepare records for workstations, servers, crypto, and network devices lifecycle.
• Evaluate proposed changes and advise leadership on security relevance.
• Participate in internal/external audits and risk assessments.
