Job summary

Lockheed Martin's Rotary and Mission Systems Cyber Resiliency organization is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to design, deploy, and sustain enterprise cybersecurity solutions for the AFSOC ACS program. You will lead security controls, RMF/C&A, and coordinate with ISSO and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes hardening OS, patch management, vulnerability monitoring, and SDLC integration; travel ~25% across the U.S. and abroad; requires US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 3+ years of cybersecurity engineering or related experience.
• Experience hardening OS and applications using benchmarks.
• IAT Level II Certification or higher (e.g. Security+ or CISSP).
• Ability to obtain Secret DoD clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Harden OS, applications, and network devices to CIS/NIST benchmarks.
• Patch management and third‑party software remediation.
• Monitor security posture; analyze logs and trends to remediate gaps.
• Manage RMF/C&A artifacts and documentation.
• Collaborate with system engineers, developers, and operations through SDLC.
