Job summary

Quantum Sky is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support a Government Program Management Office in Virginia Beach, VA. On-site role focused on RMF/ATO readiness and SDLC security integration.

You will apply RMF per NIST SP 800-37 and DoDI 8510.01, build and maintain security baselines, and support A&A processes to achieve Authority to Operate (ATO). Strong communication with leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Four or more years in IT security with RMF/A&A experience.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree with cybersecurity background.
• CSWF Intermediate Level knowledge/skills (IAT II) or equivalent.
• Familiarity with DOD RMF, A&A, STIGs and eMASS.

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity engineering support across the SDLC.
• Apply RMF life cycle steps to achieve ATO and operate systems.
• Develop and maintain SSPs, SAPs, RARs, and SRTMs.
• Review ACAS scans, STIGs/SCAP content for system components.
• Collaborate with program offices and leadership, presenting findings.
