Batten Asset Management Company (BAMCo.) is seeking a proactive Cybersecurity Engineer to protect our digital infrastructure and data across a growing technology-driven business. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing security systems in collaboration with IT, operations, and leadership.

You’ll monitor threats, perform risk assessments, and enforce policies while ensuring compliance with standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
• 3+ years in cybersecurity or network security engineering.
• Familiarity with standards (NIST, ISO, CMMC) and vulnerability management tools.
• Certifications such as Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM, or GSEC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and respond to cybersecurity threats, incidents, and vulnerabilities.
• Design and implement firewalls, encryption, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct regular audits, penetration testing, and risk assessments.
• Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, protocols, and awareness training.
• Manage endpoint protection, secure cloud environments, and third-party integrations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer security requirements.
• Collaborate with IT to secure CMMS, ERP, and IoT/telematics integrations.
