Cybersecurity Engineer Principal

Responsibilities
- Entra ID (Azure AD) Management: Manage and maintain Azure AD/Entra ID, including hybrid identity configurations, secure access, identity governance, conditional access, multi‑factor authentication, single sign‑on, and health monitoring.
- Azure Platform Management: Administer and optimize Azure infrastructure services such as virtual machines, networking, storage, and identity services; support Azure‑based applications with RBAC, identity management, and privileged identity protection; collaborate with architects and developers to design scalable, secure Azure environments.
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Implement and manage security and compliance features (DLP, IRM, conditional access), guide user provisioning, licensing, and troubleshooting.
- Active Directory Management: Oversee on‑premises AD environments—domain controllers, group policies, forests, trusts, replication; manage AD object lifecycle, security groups, user and service accounts; conduct audits and design high‑availability architectures.
- Okta Cloud Administration: Administer Okta Identity Management, automate workflows, manage federation, and enforce security and compliance.
- Security & Compliance: Enforce corporate security policies and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2); identify and mitigate risks through monitoring, patch management, system hardening, and incident response.
- Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting: Monitor, diagnose, and tune performance for AD, Entra ID, Azure, and M365; resolve system issues; implement automation with PowerShell, AzureCLI, etc.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Create and maintain documentation, troubleshooting guides, and train/mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or 12+ years of related experience).
- 8+ years of related experience in cybersecurity engineering.
- Proficiency with Active Directory, AzureAD (EntraID), Azure, Okta, and Microsoft365 administration.
- Experience in identity management, hybrid cloud environments, and enterprise‑scale IT infrastructure.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, firewalls, VPNs, and DNS management.
- US Citizenship and active TS/SCI clearance (must be able to obtain).
Location
Tampa, FL – Onsite work at MacDill AFB (FLC007). Travel <10% required.
Salary
$129,813 – $172,500 (salary based on experience, geographic location and contractual requirements; may fall outside this range).
