Job summary

Castalia Systems is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to work within the Security Engineering domain and as part of the larger enterprise engineering effort you will operate within a custom air gapped Department of Defense IT network daily to perform advanced support and direct deployment of new capabilities.

Qualifications

• Solid background in systems administration with Linux and Windows desktop and server OS.
• Knowledge of VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi and virtualization.
• Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (eg CISSP and/or Security+).

Responsibilities

• Create and present materials to convey concepts to a wide range of audiences.
• Work onsite in a closed area environment with occasional offsite opportunities.
• Update system documentation, schematics and operational guides and procedures.
• Interface with teams to define and implement cyber risk posture and information assurance across the enterprise IT portfolio.
• Travel up to 10% may be required.
