PingWind, Inc. seeks a Virtualization Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise virtualization environments across data centers, hybrid clouds, and enterprise networks.

This role provides strategic and technical leadership to ensure secure, scalable infrastructure supporting DoD cyber operations. The position requires a Secret clearance, DoD 8570.01 M IAM Level III, and RMF expertise, with seven years in DoD cyber environments (NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CPN-X).

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on protecting and mitigating vulnerabilities on DoD information networks.

• Maintain RMF documentation, CAP, and ATO processes for system changes.
• Coordinate CND policies across the SWA area of responsibility.

Required Experience: Minimum of three years of experience with RMF/ Risk Management Framework and seven years' experience with DoD cyber working with NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and CPN-X (or other CENTCOM CX network environment) supporting DoD Cyber. Position Description: PingWind is seeking a Virtualization Architect responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise virtualization environments that support critical business and mission operations. This role provides strategic and technical leadership for virtualization platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure across data centers, hybrid cloud environments, and enterprise networks.

Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Provide guidance to the AO and Information Assurance Program Manager (IAPM) in protecting, detecting, characterizing, countering, and mitigating unauthorized activity and vulnerabilities on DoD information networks and systems
• Assist in developing and implementing cybersecurity programs and shall provide recommendations for, and coordination of, administrative policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain a process to identify and track cybersecurity requirements, identify possible solutions, manage cybersecurity actions, and document decisions and certification efforts
• Validate cybersecurity compliance, review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Advise and assist organizations in the preparation of RMF documentation, Connection Approval Process (CAP), and ATO requests for existing and proposed system or network changes.
• Coordinate Computer Network Defense (CND) policies and procedures across the SWA AOR.
• Provide oversight of PM and Programs of Record (POR) cybersecurity compliance; coordinate certification and accreditation efforts for PM or POR systems.
