KODA Technologies is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer/ISSO to provide information assurance and cybersecurity support to an Army program office at Redstone Arsenal, AL. This on-site role supports the IT/IA staff, engineers, and customers.

The position involves developing cybersecurity strategy, maintaining the Authority to Operate (ATO), reviewing CDRLs, and coordinating with cyber test engineers; travel about 15% is required.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Information Security or related field.
• 10 years related technical experience.
• 2 years weapon system experience.
• DoD 8140 IAM II certification.

Responsibilities

• On-site Cyber Engineer for PAE Fires Program Office developing cyber requirements and strategy.
• Reviewer of cybersecurity CDRLs for secure engineering practices and DoD/Army compliance.
• Participate in Technical Interchange Meetings to assess cyber impacts of proposed changes.
• Develop cybersecurity documentation and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO).
• Support cybersecurity strategy document development and maintenance.
• Develop Plan of Action and Milestones for system deficiencies.
• Collaborate with cyber test engineers and participate in cyber test execution.
• Identify cyber vulnerabilities and evaluate operational defense capabilities.

Position Overview:

KODA Technologies is seeking aCybersecurity Engineer/Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to provide information assurance and cybersecurity support to an Army program office in Program Acquisition Executive (PAE) Fires. This position will support the office's information technology and information assurance (IT/IA) project staff, engineers, and customers. This position will be located at Redstone Arsenal, AL.

Description

• On-site Cyber Engineer for PAE Fires Program Office developing requirements and cybersecurity strategy for future Army weapon systems.
• Primary reviewer of cybersecurity CDRLs focused on secure engineering practices and compliance with DoD and Army regulations.
• Participate in technical reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings to assess proposed engineering changes for cyber engineering impacts.
• Develop cybersecurity documentation and maintain Authority to Operate (ATO) for the life of the system.
• Support cybersecurity strategy document development and maintenance.
• Develop Plan of Action and Milestones for system deficiencies.
• Work closely with cyber test engineers and participate in cyber test execution.
• Identify cyber vulnerabilities and evaluate operational cyber defense capabilities.
• Must be able to work closely with industry and government agency partners.

Required Qualifications:

• BS degree in Information Security or related field
• 10 years related technical experience.
• 2 years weapon system experience.
• DoD 8140 IAM II certification

Travel: 15%

Clearance:Active DoD Top Secret security clearance, or active Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret clearance is required.
