Job summary

DirectViz Solutions, LLC seeks a Cybersecurity Engineer II in San Diego, CA onsite to strengthen enterprise security through practical engineering on Windows and Linux with STIG implementation and vulnerability management.

You will conduct ACAS-based assessments, patching, and remediation, supporting audits and compliance initiatives while collaborating with IT and cybersecurity teams. A Bachelor’s degree and Secret Clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a cybersecurity-related field.
• IAT II certification or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of full-time experience with system hardening and STIGs.
• Experience with ACAS-based vulnerability assessments.
• Secret Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Hardening Windows and Linux systems per DoD requirements.
• Implement and maintain STIGs across environments.
• Conduct ACAS-based vulnerability assessments.
• Prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities and findings.
• Apply patches and security updates to Linux and Windows.
• Support cybersecurity compliance initiatives and monitoring.
• Document configurations, actions taken, and assessments.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to strengthen posture.
