Job summary

TAMKO is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer I in Dallas, TX. This hands-on role provides exposure to modern security tools, incident response, and vulnerability management across IT and industrial OT systems.

You will work with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to strengthen TAMKO's security posture. Responsibilities include monitoring IT/OT environments, supporting incident response, and conducting vulnerability assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related field; or
• 3+ years of practical cybersecurity experience in a production environment, demonstrating applied knowledge of fundamentals through real-world projects.

Responsibilities

• Monitor IT and OT environments using SIEM tools to identify, investigate, and escalate incidents in real time.
• Support incident detection, triage, containment, and investigation activities with documented findings.
• Perform scheduled and ad-hoc vulnerability assessments across IT and OT systems, supporting remediation planning and patch validation.
• Configure, update, and maintain security tools and agents across IT and OT environments, ensuring reliable deployment and integration.
• Collaborate with OT and engineering teams to assess security gaps and participate in risk assessments for critical systems.
