Job summary

SGI is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to work at Ft. Meade, MD, in a fully onsite role. This position supports a critical federal cyber defense program, focusing on enterprise endpoint security and threat detection technologies.

Cybersecurity Engineer – Endpoint Security / EDR / DLP

Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph Required

We are hiring a Cybersecurity Engineer to support a critical federal cyber defense program focused on enterprise endpoint security and threat detection technologies.

This role will focus on deployment, sustainment and operational support of advanced endpoint security platforms across a secure enterprise environment/

Key Responsibilities:

• Support daily operations and maintenance of endpoint security technologies
• Deploy and operationalize EDR and DLP capabilities
• Participate in engineering, integration and migration activities
• Troubleshoot security platform issues and support incident response efforts
• Develop technical documentation, diagrams, reports and playbooks
• Support testing, debugging and deployment activities
• Collaborate with cyber operations and infrastructure stakeholders
• Monitor platform health, functionality and performance
• Assist with policy tuning and optimization

Required Skills:

• Experience with endpoint security tools including ENS, ePO, EDR and DLP
• Strong cybersecurity engineering or cyber operations background
• Windows and Linux systems administration experience
• Knowledge of enterprise networking, Active Directory and virtualization
• Experience supporting classified or large‑scale enterprise environments
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Active DoD 8570/8140 certification required
