Job summary

ComTec Solutions, LLC. is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to serve as a subject matter expert across security policies, standards, and architecture.

The role balances supporting our Cybersecurity offering with CMMC compliance projects, providing security direction to the business and project stakeholders to ensure security remains a core consideration. The engineer will lead security reviews, design complex applications, perform risk assessments, and coordinate with vendors to strengthen

Qualifications

• 5+ years working in Information Technology.
• 2+ years in Cybersecurity with focus on security controls.
• 1+ year in CMMC compliance initiatives.
• Professional information security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISSAP) are a plus.
• CCP certification is preferred.
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-171 or 800-53.
• Experience with vulnerability management processes.

Responsibilities

• Project engagement during initiation, requirements, and design to embed security.
• Security review and design of complex applications and technologies.
• Maintain security plans and procedures to protect information systems.
• Translate business needs into security controls and publish documentation.
• Liaise between ComTec and cybersecurity vendors; manage security reports.
