Job summary

Sumaria Systems, LLC is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the Air Force’s ACAS suite and vulnerability management at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA. The role involves installing and maintaining ACAS components, conducting scans, analyzing findings, and ensuring compliance with DoD standards.

Ideal candidates will have 5–7 years in cybersecurity, strong networking knowledge, Windows/Linux proficiency, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with IT teams and Government personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 5–7 years of cybersecurity or related IT experience.
• Fundamental networking knowledge and protocols.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain the Tenable ACAS suite across enterprise systems.
• Schedule and execute vulnerability scans and analyze results.
• Support compliance assessments against DoD standards and internal policies.
• Generate reports on vulnerability status and remediation progress.
• Collaborate with admins and technical teams to remediate findings.
• Maintain ACAS servers, supporting databases, and related documentation.
• Monitor evolving threats and best practices to improve security posture.
