Job summary

Trintech in Plano (Hybrid) is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to triage, analyze, and respond to security alerts, while supporting the deployment and tuning of security tools. The role involves collaborating with SOC and vendors to strengthen security controls and educate employees on phishing threats.

You will participate in information security projects, assist with remediation efforts, and help shape the security roadmap for a SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Experience triaging security threats and incidents.
• Proficient in security concepts such as cyber-attacks, threat vectors, risk and incident management.
• Foundational knowledge of Windows, Linux, Unix, and MacOS.
• Understanding TCP/IP, network analysis, and security applications.

Responsibilities

• Triage, analyze, and investigate security alerts from SIEM, EDR, DLP, and other tools.
• Analyze vulnerabilities from scanning tools and advise remediation.
• Participate in the incident response process with evidence collection and analysis.
• Assist with deployment and maintenance of security tech (SIEM, EDR, DLP).
